Piccadilly Dance Orchestra

Friday, 2 July  - 7.30pm                                                Family Friendly (7+)

St. George's Church, Deal

The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra presents in its inimitable style an all-new celebration of the Golden Age of the Hollywood Musical. From Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers to Dick Powell and Ruby Keeler, Hollywood brought us, for one brief shining moment, some of the greatest songs ever written: "Isn't It Romantic", "Cheek To Cheek", "Puttin' On the Ritz" and "Forty-Second Street" are just a few of the songs that characterised the Hollywood musical at its fleetest of foot. Tonight we look back at a whole lost world where top hats, white ties and tails were the dress code, and love was forever in the air.  Sheridan Morley

The eleven-piece Piccadilly Dance Orchestra is joined by its founder and conductor Michael Law and vocalist Karla Beare.
