Guided Tours of St Augustine's Abbey Visitors to last yearŐs Festival were very impressed by PuginŐs masterpiece, the beautiful church of St AugustineŐs Abbey in Ramsgate, where one of the concerts was held. This year Father Benedict Austen, the parish priest, has kindly agreed to open the church specially for the Deal Summer Music Festival and there will be guided tours by members of Pugin Society at 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm. No booking is necessary, but a charge of £2.00 will be made on the door.. |
