The Caliband perform works by Elgar, Shostakovich, Jenkins, Nyman, Sting and Coldplay, along with solo Bach performed by Matthew Sharp.

The Caliband. A new string ensemble for East Kent. It mixes students and leading UK professionals. It interprets other people’s music with fierce imagination, writes its own and performs like there’s no tomorrow. Inspired by the overwhelming success of Bach-ic in2011, The Caliband doesn't break down barriers…it doesn't see any.
