An enthralling story written by our own Education Director and the award-winning librettist Martin Riley, set on the night in 1784 when William Pitt ordered the burning of the boats on Deal beach to suppress the enthusiastic smuggling trade! The compelling, action-packed drama is acted and sung with son et lumiere. A cross-generational project performed by students from Sandwich, Deal and Dover Primary and Secondary Schools, adult choirs and the White Cliffs Community Wind Band.
